How do I change the period? (Change Current Period)

Instruction

Changing The Period allows the property to change the month (and lock the previous month) without closing the financial period. (Closing the Period is typically done by the corporate office.)

 Changing the Period

1.  Select >Accounting > Periods > Change Current Period

a.  Chose Run Analysis-reflects any unresolved resident activity items, resident transactions or account variances

b.  Items included in the Analysis are defined by the management company

c.  Click the Exclamation Point to see items needing to be resolved.

The yellow exclamation point are Warnings. They do not have to be resolved, but ResMan recommends that you do clear up these messages.
