Prospects: How to add a new prospect manually (new prospects)

Instruction

You can manually add a prospect either through the "New Prospect" icon in the Efficiency Ribbon or by going to Accounts > Prospects > New Prospect. Both of these routes open up the "New Prospect" form (see screenshot below).  

Fill out this form with your prospect's information. This form allows you to set up a follow-up appointment with the prospect, which will display on your calendar. The * indicates required fields.

Common questions

What is the Preferred/Display name field for?

This is the name that will be shown in the Prospect/Resident page by default.  You will have still, however, have an option to view the full name (see image below). 

 

Permissions and Settings

To add a prospect you need permission to. To check permissions, go to Admin > User >  (Select User) > Change Permissions > Prospects > Add.
