When your resident is signing up for Automated Payment, they will have 2 options - fixed scheduled payment and balance only scheduled payments.
For fixed amount scheduled payments, whether the rents have posted or not is irrelevant.
For balance amounts payments - Aptexx processes the payment for the amount of charges that are on the resident's account at the time the payment is processed.
If the charges have not posted at the time the scheduled payment is processed, the scheduled payment will be cancelled.
If the residents set up balance payments - then the balance needs to be there at the time they set their payments for - otherwise, it will not process properly.
