When you reconcile...you are within one bank account. It does not matter if that bank account is shared across multiple property, the reconciliation is going to compare your bank's transactions (Wells Fargo or whomever) against ResMan's bank transactions.
Before you start your reconciliation, you want to verify that the ResMan shared bank account matches the various property GL's. Before you start the reconciliation process, you should run a merged General Ledger for that cash account. There are two ways to get the Bank balance and two ways to get the GL data (on screen or a report). Here are both ways:
To get the Bank Account transactions you can either:
- Open the bank account, and filter for the correct date range or
- Run a Bank Account Register report, and filter for the correct date range
To get the GL Cash Account transactions for all of the involved properties you can either
- Do a search for the GL account. Change the the Property Group that contains each property, filter for the correct date range or
- Run a General Ledger report. Select that 1 GL Cash account only. Change the the Property Group that contains each property, filter for the correct date range
You want to confirm that ResMan's 1 bank account agrees to the combined property GL's before you try to reconcile ResMan's bank account.
You may also find the Cash Balances report helpful (check the box for "Show property specific balances for shared bank accounts.")
Once you know that ResMan's bank and GL match...you can reconcile ResMan's bank account to your actual bank account.
